papaya halva


Papaya halwa;

Ingredients;

2 cups papaya
1 cup milk which are boiled
1 cup sugar
A pinch of yellow food colour
6  tbsp butter or ghee
Garnishing ingredients;
5-cashew nuts,
5 badam ,
5 pista
A pinch of cardamom powder.

Method;

1.peel the skin ,remove the seeds and grate the papaya,

2.Roast  the garnishing ingredients (expect cardamom powder) in ghee till they turn in to light golden colour .

3.Allow it to cool then broken in to small pieces.

4Heat a heavy bottomed pan and heat 2 tbsp ghee.

5.Add thr grated papaya and saute on low flame till the raw smell disappears.

6.Now add milk and mix well.

7.Cook on low flame till the papaya become tender.

8.Once the halwa starts to ticking stir continuously for 5 mints.

9.At this point add reaming ghee and stir well.

10.Cook on low flame till the ghee separates from the mixture.

11.finally add the garnishing  ingredients
.
12Now your easy and tasty papaya halwa  is ready  to serve.

13.Serve hot or cold.
