Lachha parata;
Ingredients;
Whole wheat flour as per consumption,
1 tsp oil,
Salt to taste,
Butter/ghee for frying.
Water for kneading.
Preparation;
1.Make the dough out of wheat flour
,1 tsp oil salt and water.
2.make dough 30 minuts before and cover with moist cloth and kept a side.
3.Take a ping-pong ball size lump of
dough.Now roll on it in to a circle of appox 5 to 6 “ diameter using dry flour.
4.Heat the ghee so that it turns to
liquid.
5.Now spread the ghee properly over
entire surface.
6.Using a knife make a 2” cut length
ways and fold it inwards.
7.spread oil on every fold ,now press
it lightly towards the center to show the clearly and roll like patara.8.Cook
on a pre heated tawa (flat girdle plate)
9.Turn the lachha parata and pour half tsp butter or oil.
10.Spread it on the parata and shallow fry over low heat.
11.Turn it and again pour oil or butter on the other side.
12.Cook the lachha parata on low heat till golden brown.
