Drumstick sambar or vegetable sambar

Ingredients;

1-cup onions sliced ,
1 cup-drumsticks,
1-cup tomato pieces,
6-green chilly,
1 cup toor dall cooked and mashed,
1/2 cup brinjal pieces,
1/4 cup cucumber pieces,
1/2 cup bottle guard  big pieces 
4 pieces of carrot and mullangi,
1 sp red chilly powder,
1 sp turmeric powder ,
salt ,
sugar 1/2 sp ,
3 sp  sambar powder,
tamarind lemon sized  and make  juice with 1 cup of water.

Ingredients for popu.

3 tbsp oil,
1 sp mustered seeds,
1 sp cumin,
5 garlic cloves,
coriander ,
curry leaves-1 sp
3 red chillies  ,
1/2 sp moong dal,
1/2 sp ghee

Method;

1.first cook the dall with small amount of oil and turmeric powder  up to 4 wissles, After cooling open the lid and mash the pappu and kept a side.

2.Take all the vegetables and add some water and oil and salt  to it and cook for 5 mins ,add some oil to them.


3.When the vegetables are half cooked add mashed dall and stir well and add double the amount of dall and vegetables approximatly 4 cups .

4.Allow to cook for 5 mints add tamarind juice and salt and chilly powder and sambar powder and cook till the vegetables are well cooked.

5.Then  take another pan add 3 sp oil and ghee and add popu ingredients and fry for 1 min  and add this popu in to sambar.

6.Cook for 2 mints garnish with coriander leaves.If you required add extra amount of sambar powder.

7.Serve hot with rice and pappads,and idlies.
