How to cook Easy Tindoora /Gherkins Fry (దొండకాయల వేపుడు) खीरा fry


Tindoora /Gherkins Fry (దొండకాయల వేపుడు) खीरा fry

Ingredients:

·         Tindoora / Gherkins Pieces – ¼ kg
·         Tomato – 1 No (Small chopped)
·         Turmeric Powder – ¼ T Spoon
·         Mustard seeds -  ¼ T spoon
·         Red Chilli Powder – 2 T Spoons
·         Salt – per Taste
·         Sun Flower Oil – 1 Tb Spoons
·         Green Chillies – 2 Nos
·         Onions – 1 Small
·         Coriander Leaves – 2 cloves
·         Curry Leaves – 2 Cloves

Preparation /Method

·         Wash the Tindoora  pieces thoroughly

·         Cut in to small Round Pieces

·         Crush the Pieces and remove the complete juice from the pieces as possible

·         Take the Kadai and pour 1 Tb spoons Oil and heat till bubble comes

·         Add the Finely chopped onions in to the kadai and heat till gold colour

·         Add the Tomato Pieces and fry it for 2 Min

·         Add the gherkins pieces and mix well and close the kadai so that the vaporized water will not comes out

·         Add turmeric powder and mix well till all the pieces becomes yellow colour cover the kadai with some plate and cook for 5 minutes

·         Add red chilli powder 2 T Spoons and mix and cover the plate and cook for another 3 minutes

·         Add salt as per the taste and don’t cover with plate

·         Add some curry leaves and coriander leaves for taste and cook for 5 minutes

·         Now serve hot with hot rice and it will

Delicious tip: serve with tomato chutney and it was simply superb
