Radish Leaves Rasam

Ingredients: 

  • Radish leaves-1 cup
  • Red chilli powder-1 T spoon
  • Cilantro-3 Bunches
  • Salt-Tasty
  • Tamarind lemon size
  • Onion-1
  • Redchilli-1
  • Water-2 litres
  • turmeric-pinch
  • Tomato-1 

Ingredients for Seasoning: 

  • Redchilli-1
  • Seasoning-1/2  t spoon
  • Cumin-pinch
  • Garlic flakes-3
  • Ghee-1 Tb  spoon
  • Curry leaves-2 bunches
  • clantro-2 bunches

Method


  • Cut Radish leaves in to small Pieces  with young stems and keep a side
  • Place the kadai on the stove add some water and boil by adding little salt to the water, after boiling the water add Radish leaves and cook for 5 minutes and take this mixture in Mixie jar and grind coarse.
  • Take a Bowl with 2 Litres water add Tamarind, red chillies, Red chilli powder, Turmeric, Salt, Tomato and Onion and Mix then place the kadai on Stove and  Boil for 10 minutes
  • Add Curry leaves and Cilantro sauté for few seconds and then add Radish paste (Which we have kept a side) Mix well and Boil until Rolling Boil.
  • Heat Ghee and Crackle Seasoning, fry Cumin, Red chilli, Curry leaves, Cilantro and fry for 2 minutes now Tadka is ready.
  • Add Tadka in Rasam and Boil for 2 Minutes.
  • That's it your tasty and healthy Rasam was Ready to serve Hot with White Rice.
